Production Animal Clinic

The production animal clinic is a technical platform supporting clinical training in production animals for Oniris students, future veterinarians. This is why hospitalized animals are cared for by 4th and 5th year veterinary students in particular, under the supervision of veterinary clinicians from the production animal clinic.

The production animal clinic offers diagnostic services (clinical to necropsy) to breeders, via their referring veterinarian.

We only take on cases referred by your veterinarian, as he or she follows your farm on a daily basis and is able to put into perspective the diagnostic results obtained during the hospitalization of an animal, in order to optimize the management of your herd.

The team is made up of 10 rural veterinarians and research lecturers, including several specialists with degrees from European colleges.
